45.

asked the Minister for Finance the amount of finance allocated from the national lottery to (a) sport (b) arts and culture and (c) health projects since 1 April 1987.

Since 1 April 1987, the Government has decided upon the following allocations for the categories in question: (a) Sports and Recreation, £26.750 million; (b) Arts and Culture, £17.884 million; (c) Health and Welfare, £10.850 million.

asked the Minister for Finance the amount of finance allocated and details of each project funded by the national lottery since 1 April 1987.

Since 1 April 1987, the Government has decided upon allocations totalling £71.434 million as follows:

The selection of individual projects within the broad programme allocations decided by Government is the responsibility of the spending Ministers concerned, to whom questions about the details of allocations made to individual projects should be addressed.
