Vol. 380 No. 4

Written Answers. - Tallaght (Dublin) Hospital Development.

26.

asked the Minister for Health if he will make a statement on the progress which has been made in the development of the Tallaght Hospital, Tallaght, Dublin 24 indicating the progress which he expects will be made during 1988 and the financial resources which have been budgeted to be spent on the hospital development in 1988; and the estimated completion date for the hospital.

Work on the detailed design of the hospital is almost completed and it is expected that approval to the next stage of planning, that is, the completion of detailed working drawings, will be given shortly. Total expenditure on the Tallaght Projection 1988 will be of the order of £1.5 million. At the present rate of progress, construction work on the first phase of the development should be completed by 1993.
