Vol. 380 No. 5

Written Answers. - Social Employment Scheme Allowance.

66.

asked the Minister for Labour the reason a person (details supplied) in County Offaly who is married is receiving a single person's allowance on a social employment scheme having regard to the fact that the married rate is £85, and the single rate is less than the unemployment assistance which he has been receiving.

The information sought by the Deputy is concerned with day-to-day activities of FÁS. I would suggest, therefore, that the Deputy contact FÁS direct in the matter.
