Vol. 380 No. 5

Written Answers. - Buttevant (Cork) Hospital.

69.

asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the reduction in the number of nursing staff at Heatherside Hospital, Buttevant, County Cork is putting intolerable strain on the remaining staff; and if he will intervene to remedy the situation.

The staffing of this hospital is a matter for the Southern Health Board. They have informed me that there has been no reduction in nursing staff numbers in the past year.
