Vol. 380 No. 7

Written Answers. - Ballinadee (Cork) School.

173.

asked the Minister for Education whether work on the new national school at Ballinadee, County Cork can commence; and, if not, the reason.

I would refer the Deputy to the answers I gave on 3 November 1987 and 27 January 1988 to questions regarding the new national school for Ballinadee, County Cork.

Agreement has now been reached with the school authorities on a revised scheme and my Department's architectural staff are at present preparing detailed drawings and specifications. It is expected that tender documentation will be completed very shortly after which tenders will be invited and a contract placed.
