asked the Minister for the Marine the process of monitoring which exists in his Department in order to ensure that pollution of any consequence does not arise in cases where authorisation has been approved for fish farming operations; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

asked the Minister for the Marine if he will indicate Government policy with regard to the provision of fish farming facilities on the western lakes; the criteria laid down for allowing such facilities including the proposed capacity of the major lakes for such involvement; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
