asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment of a grant for a silage base will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

A claim under the farm improvement programme for payment of a grant has been received and will be paid as soon as practicable. All claims under the programme are dealt with strictly in order of receipt. Payments are being phased in such a way as to ensure adherence to the amount provided in the Vote. Consequently, there is some delay in making grant payments.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Kerry will receive payment of a farm improvement grant.

A claim under the programme for western development for payment of a farm buildings grant of £3,385 has been received and will be paid as soon as practicable. All claims under the programme are dealt with strictly in order of receipt. Payments are being phased in such a way as to ensure adherence to the amount provided in the Vote. Consequently, there is some delay in making grant payments.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Kerry will receive payment of a farm improvement grant.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a person (details supplied) in County Waterford has received headage payments but not a calf and beef premium; and when payment of same will be made.

The Deputy will appreciate that, due to the number of cases that have to be processed by the Department, all headage and premium payments cannot be made at the same time.

The person named, who has already been paid her 1987 cattle headage grants, will be paid her calf premium grant next week and her beef premium grant by the end of this month.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment of a grant for a silage slab and slatted house will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

A claim under the farm modernisation scheme for payment of a grant of £4,016 has been received and will be paid as soon as practicable. All claims under the scheme are dealt with strictly in order of receipt. Payments are being phased in such a way as to ensure adherence to the amount provided in the Vote. Consequently, there is some delay in making grant payments.

58.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Kerry will receive payment of a farm installation grant.

The application in this case cannot be further processed until the applicant furnishes evidence that his title to the land in question has been registered in the Land Registry.
