My Department has received an application for a grant towards the cost of improved playspace facilities at Kilanure National School, County Laois, and is at present awaiting a report on the matter from its professional advisers. A decision will be conveyed to the school authorities in due course.
A grant has already been sanctioned and paid in respect of improvements to the playspace at Camross National School.

My Department has sanctioned a grant towards the cost of a permanent extension at Killeen national school, Maganey, County Laois.
Because of the pressure on the capital available to my Department for the national schools building programme, it will not be possible to advance this project further for the present.
