I presume the Deputy is referring to the Discussion Document on Neo-natal Services prepared by the Faculty of Paediatrics of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. Comhairle na nOspidéal have recently submitted to me their report on the organisation of neo-natal services in Dublin. The views of the faculty were taken into account in the preparation of the report.
Comhairle are now proceeding to examine the organisation of neo-natal services in other parts of the country. The recommendations made by Comhairle and the Faculty of Paediatrics will be taken into account in the formulation of future policy on neo-natal services.
