As indicated in my reply to Question No. 56 of 1 July 1986, the application was rejected in January 1978. The available records do not indicate the reason for such rejection.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a final inspection for a new house grant will be carried out for a person (details supplied) in County Carlow.
An inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a final inspection for a house improvement grant will be carried out for a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if his attention has been drawn to the fact that this person is in receipt of very expensive bridging accommodation.
An inspection with a view to payment of the grant will be carried out as soon as possible.
