asked the Minister for Education if she will consider an application for funding from the national lottery by Leixlip Amenities Group, County Kildare; if her attention has been drawn to the efforts of this group to date, in providing much needed facilities in the area; her views on whether these efforts should be rewarded by an offer of a capital grant; if her attention has further been drawn to the necessity for the provision of extended facilities in this fast developing area; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
