Vol. 381 No. 6

Written Answers. - Dún Laoghaire Planning Review Group.

30.

asked the Minister for the Marine if the promised planning review group for Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin, has yet been appointed; when work will commence; the arrangements which will be made to enable it to receive submissions; the consultations it will have with Dún Laoghaire Corporation and local interested groups; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The planning review group will be appointed within the next few days and will start its work as soon as possible after appointment. It will be asked to produce an interim report within three months on the subject of a marina for the coal harbour. Submissions which have already been made on the subject of harbour developments will be brought to the group's attention. The group will accept further submissions from local interested groups and individuals. It will, in particular, seek the views of the harbour liaison committee. Dún Laoghaire Corporation will be represented on the planning review group and will be fully involved in its work.
