I propose to take Questions Nos. 137 and 138 together.
The number of people employed in my private office at 1 May 1987 and on 1 June 1988 is one. There has been no Minister of State or constituency office attached to my Department on the dates in question.
The number of people who were employed in my predecessor's constituency office was six.
