Vol. 381 No. 8

Written Answers. - Opinion Poll Regulation.

149.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he intends introducing legislation to regulate the standards used in opinion polls which would require a minimum number of sampling points for a publication to be referred to as national and that this law should exclude companies from publication of statistics for the period following the President's declaration up to polling day in an election.

There are no proposals for legislation to regulate opinion polls.
