An allocation of £250,000 has been provided in 1988 from the national lottery for the provision of additional sports facilities in Thomond College so that the designation of the college as a national coaching centre can be facilitated.
My Department is examining a number of proposals with a view to finalising a brief for the project. It is too early to say when work on the project will commence.
