Commitments from the European Regional Development Fund in respect of roads in County Roscommon for the years 1984 and 1985 were as follows: 1984, £455,000, 1985, £491,000. No specific commitments from the ERDF were received in 1986, 1987 or in 1988 to date, for roads in County Roscommon.
In December 1987, an ERDF commitment of £194 million was received in respect of the roads development programme to be carried out up to the end of 1990. It is not possible to determine, in advance, the amount of ERDF assistance which will be applicable to individual counties under the programme.
