This project is part of the major investment programme announced last year for the development of the meat industry. State support by way of IDA capital grant of £25 million and IDA redeemable preference shares of £5 million towards the total capital investment of £120 million has been approved for the programme. The EC Commission has allocated a FEOGA grant of £1.548 million for the project in question.
