Some months ago I requested the Hospital Joint Services Board to explore the possibility of attracting badly needed investment from outside sources to maintain and develop the operations of the board. The operations of the board have been offered for sale as a going concern. Interested parties have been invited to purchase the business outright or to form a joint venture with the board. Tenders have been received and are being examined.
