Vol. 383 No. 7

Written Answers. - Foreshore Licence Application.

77.

asked the Minister for the Marine if he has received an application for a licence in respect of the removal of sand from the beach at Inver, County Donegal; if a decision has been made on the application; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

An application for a foreshore licence under the Foreshore Act, 1933 has been received by my Department from a person in respect of the removal of sand from Inver Beach, County Donegal.

In line with normal practice, the application was referred for comment to the agencies and public bodies which have an interest.

When the views of these bodies have been received, my Department will be in a position to make an early decision on the matter.
