Vol. 384 No. 2

Written Answers. - Ennis (Clare) General Hospital.

211.

asked the Minister for Health if he will outline his policy regarding the future staffing and level of services at Ennis General Hospital, County Clare.

The question of staffing levels and services at Ennis General Hospital is a matter in the first instance for the MidWestern Health Board.

There are no proposals on hands at present from the health board for any additional staff at this hospital. With regard to the provision of services the board have decided that Ennis Hospital should continue in its present role and I am fully in agreement with this decision.
