Vol. 384 No. 8

Written Answers. - Tax Rebate.

75.

asked the Minister for Finance the reason a tax rebate has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Meath; and when payment will be made.

The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that the delay was caused in this case by the difficulty in obtaining details of the taxpayers' pay and tax deducted in respect of his previous employment. The details have now been received. A cheque in respect of a refund of £289.20 due to the taxpayer will be issued to him as soon as possible.
