Vol. 385 No. 6

Written Answers. - County Cork Garda Station.

166.

asked the Minister for Finance the reason a Garda station in County Cork (details supplied) has not been supplied with central heating as this work was approved by the Department of Justice almost three years ago; if he will treat this as a matter of urgency; and if he will have the amenity provided in the near future.

Due to financial restrictions, a considerable number of projects at Garda premises have had to be deferred until the necessary financial resources become available. The Commissioners of Public Works are not in a position to say when these works will be carried out as the establishing of a list of priorities is a matter for the Department of Justice and this has not to date been included on a priority list.
