The only EC funds available for electricity supply are from the western package electrification scheme. The applicant is not, however, eligible for grant aid as he does not reside in an area covered by this scheme.
I understand that the ESB would be prepared to discuss easy payment terms with the applicant who should contact his local ESB office for details.
