asked the Minister for Finance the estimated additional yield to the Exchequer in a full year from the abolition of the ceilings for (a) PRSI (b) health contributions and (c) an additional 1 per cent payment of PRSI from the self-employed.

asked the Minister for Finance the estimated cost to the Exchequer, in a full year, of the introduction of (a) the following tax bands and rates:

159.

asked the Minister for Finance the estimated yield to the Exchequer in a full year from: (a) a minimum annual tax of 10 per cent on the taxable income of all corporations (b) a minimum 1 per cent tax on the profits of the manufacturing sector and a minimum 4.3 per cent tax on the profits of the remainder of the corporate sector (c) a limitation of capital allowance to 20 per cent per annum (d) a standard corporation tax rate of 40 per cent and (e) advance corporation tax paid in respect of dividends two months after the date of payment of the dividend.

It is proposed to take Questions Nos. 157, 158 and 159, inclusive, together. Owing to pressure of work arising in connection with the budget, it has not been possible in the short time available to provide the information requested. If the Deputy repeats his questions in two weeks time, I will provide, as far as possible, the required information.
