In March 1987 discussions involving officers of my Department and representatives of the IDA took place in the course of which the implications of the relevant regulations governing the manufacture and sale of pharmaceutical products were explained to the IDA. These discussions were held at the request of the IDA and I understand they were held prior to the approval of the grant.
