Lough Corrib Navigation Trustees have requested that I make an order under section 13 of the Lough Corrib Navigation Act, 1945 to transfer responsibility for the navigation at the Claddagh Basin to Galway Corporation. This request is being considered in consultation with relevant interested bodies and a decision in the matter will be taken as soon as possible.
