I am aware of the accommodation requirements of the Christian Brothers' secondary school Naas. Architectural planning of the extension to the school has reached Stage 2 (outline sketch scheme). Following examination of this stage, the manager was requested recently to submit a revised cost plan to take account of a number of amendments made by my Department. The remaining stages to be processed prior to the start of building work are as follows: Stage 3, developed sketch scheme; Stage 4, detail design; Stage 5, bills of quantities; Stage 6, tender action and placing of contract.
