Vol. 386 No. 5

Written Answers. - Visitor's Visa for Iranian Citizen.

41.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will grant a visitor's visa to a person (details supplied) who is a citizen of Iran in order that she can visit her daughter, her son-in-law and her grandchildren, also Iranians, who have been granted political asylum here.

My Department refused to grant an entry visa to visit the State to the person referred to in the question twice in the last eight months. I am satisfied that these decisions were correct and, accordingly, I do not propose to alter them.
