Vol. 387 No. 3

Written Answers. - Income Tax Rebate.

46.

asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay of ten weeks in having an income tax rebate issued to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11.

The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that the taxpayer's signed, but undated, P50 (claim to repayment of tax on grounds of unemployment) was received in the tax office dealing with his affairs on 24 January 1989. The claim will be processed as quickly as possible and any repayment found due will then be made.
