Vol. 387 No. 4

Written Answers. - Residents Association Submission.

54.

asked the Minister for Justice if he has received the submission of the Sutton Park Residents Association, dated 30 January 1989, regarding problems of increased vandalism at the DART station in Bayside, Dublin 13; if he intends to ask the superintendent of the Garda at Raheny to consult and co-operate with Irish Rail to tackle this problem; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The submission in question was received in my office on 3 February 1989 and has been acknowledged. I asked the Garda authorities for a report on the matter and a reply to the Sutton Park and Lawns' Residents Association will issue in the near future. The Garda authorities have informed me that there is on-going liaison and co-operation between the gardaí and Irish Rail about the problem referred to in the question.
