Vol. 387 No. 4

Written Answers. - Kerry Group Water Schemes.

100.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding outstanding payments for all group water supply schemes in County kerry; when the last payment was made; and the reason for withholding these payments.

Payments are made in respect of all group water schemes when the various stages are inspected and certified as satisfactorily completed. There is no question of withholding payment in such cases.

Compilation of information in relation to the amounts of grants remaining to be paid, and the dates of the last grant payments, on all of the schemes referred to by the Deputy would involve an amount of staff time and cost which would not be warranted.
