The detailed deployment of Garda manpower to individual stations is a matter for the Garda authorities. They inform me that, having regard to overall Garda commitments throughout the whole Laois/Offaly division, they are not in a position at present to fill the vacancy for sergeant at Kilcormac station, but they hope to do so as soon as circumstances permit.
