An advance payment of the 1988 ewe premium will be paid to the person named shortly. The balance of the premium will be paid to him in July-August 1989.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will arrange for the immediate payment of outstanding headage grants due to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.
The person named did not apply for grants under any of the headage schemes. Her husband did, however, and he will be paid his 1988 calf premium shortly. He has been paid his 1988 cattle and equines headage and suckler cow premium schemes grants already.
He did not apply under the 1988 special beef premium scheme.
