asked the Minister for Finance when a tax rebate will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 24; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that the claim for repayment has been processed and a cheque in settlement will be issued to the taxpayer shortly. If he remains unemployed he may submit at four weekly intervals further claims for repayment of tax deducted in the current year.

The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that a cheque for £356.02 will issue shortly to the taxpayer in settlement of his repayment claim. If he remains unemployed he may lodge at four weekly intervals further claims for repayment of tax deducted in the current year.
