Vol. 387 No. 10

Written Answers. - Disabled Person's Maintenance Allowance.

146.

asked the Minister for Health the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kerry who has suffered serious multiple injuries in a car accident has been refused a disabled person's maintenance allowance by the Southern Health Board.

Payment of a disabled person's maintenance allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly, in this instance the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer, Southern Health Board, with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
