asked the Minister for Health if he has satisfied himself that enough money is being allocated by the Southern Health Board to Tralee Regional Hospital, County Kerry, in comparison to the moneys allocated to the Cork hospitals.

asked the Minister for Health if he will make a statement on the amount of reduction in expenditure at Mallow General Hospital, County Cork, in (1) 1988 and (2) 1989.

I propose to answer Questions Nos. 147 and 148 together.

It is the responsibility of the Southern Health Board to decide, from within its allocation, the level of resources to fund services at Tralee and Mallow hospitals.
