asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment of a headage grant will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

The person named has been paid his 1988 beef cow and suckler cow schemes grants already.

He will be paid his 1988 calf premium and special beef premium schemes grants shortly.

72.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the present position regarding the installation grant of a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and when payment of same will issue.

Before eligibility under the scheme of installation aid for young farmers can be determined, a detailed investigation of each application must be carried out. In this case the investigation has not yet been completed. If the applicant is found to be eligible, payment of the premium will be made in due course.

73.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in issuing payment of a heifer and sheep subsidy to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

The suckler cow premium grant has already been paid to the person named and the beef cow headage and calf premium grants will issue shortly.

Advance payment under the ewe premium scheme was delayed because of a filing error in the District Livestock Office but this payment will also issue shortly.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in issuing payment of a hayshed grant to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.
