Vol. 388 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Waterford Bridge.

6.

asked the Taoiseach if, in view of the aesthetic value of the Hindu Gothic bridge at Dromana, Villierstown, Cappoquin, County Waterford, which is in danger of collapse, he will make funds available from the national lottery for its repair and upkeep.

National lottery funds to assist heritage, including architectural heritage, projects are disbursed through the National Heritage Council. Applications for such grant assistance should be made directly to the council. I understand that, to date, no such application has been received by the council in respect of this structure. Any request which is made will be considered by them in the normal way.
