Written Answers. - Unleaded Petrol.

90.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if, following the exhortations of the Minister for the Environment in respect of the use of unleaded petrol, he has corresponded with all the semi-State bodies under his aegis directing them to use unleaded petrol in all of the petrol driven vehicles which are under the control, ownership or leasing of those semi-State companies; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There are only two vehicles capable of using lead free petrol in the semi-State bodies for which I am responsible. The two bodies concerned have been told to use lead free petrol in these two vehicles.
