As I indicated in reply to recent questions by the Deputy on this subject, the procedures in relation to the issue of warrants by the Minister for Justice for the interception of postal or telephonic communications have been outlined to the House on a number of occasions, including in detailed replies given by the then Minister for Justice to questions on 4 June 1970 (Volume 247, columns 564-566) and 17 February 1972 (Volume 258, columns 2136-2145), and I do not propose to comment further on the matter.
