asked the Minister for Labour the Acts or provisions of Acts passed by the Houses of the Oireachtas which relate to his Department and which have not yet come into operation because the necessary ministerial orders have not yet been made.

The legislation, or provisions thereof, for which my Department are responsible and which have been passed by the Houses of the Oireachtas but are not yet operative are: section 9 of the Industrial Relations Act, 1969; part II of the Dangerous Substances Act, 1972; the Safety, Health and Welfare (Offshore Installations) Act, 1987, and the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 1989.
