The stretch of river in question is under the management of the Southern Fisheries Board. The leasing of it to fishermen is a routine administrative matter for the board in which I have no function. However I have asked the manager of the regional board to brief the Deputy on the current situation in relation to the arrangements his board is making in the matter.
