Particulars of the overall strength of the Garda Síochána and the number of members assigned to the stations in question as at 31 December 1986 and 1987 were given in my reply to Questions Nos. 92 and 94 on 26 October 1988. Corresponding statistics in respect of 31 December 1988 and 30 April 1989 are given in the following table.
The number of members assigned to Raheny and Coolock stations, which are district headquarters stations, include specialist staff and units that provide a service for the district as a whole.
