Vol. 390 No. 1

Written Answers. - Mallow (Cork) General Hospital.

128.

asked the Minister for Health, in view of the recent High Court decision relating to the future of Mallow General Hospital, County Cork, the action he proposes to take in order to safeguard the acute general facilities there; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I understand that the Southern Health Board is considering an appeal to the Supreme Court arising from the recent High Court judgment on Mallow Hospital. It would, therefore, be inappropriate for me to comment further on the issues involved at the moment.
