asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food, with regard to an application from the Shannon Valley area of County Offaly for conservation under the disadvantaged areas scheme, when the official survey of the area will be completed.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food, with regard to an application from the Slieve Margy area of County Laois for consideration under the disadvantaged areas scheme, when the official survey of the area will be completed.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food, with regard to the application of Walsh Island-Cloneygowan area of County Offaly for conservation under the disadvantaged areas scheme, when the official survey of the area will be completed.

I propose to answer Questions Nos. 61, 62 and 63 together.

Agricultural officers of my Department have completed the first part of the survey of the Shannon Valley area of County Offaly, the Slieve Margy area of County Laois, the Walsh Island-Cloneygowan area of County Offaly and Land Commission inspectors will complete the second part of the survey of those areas by October 1989 as planned.
