Vol. 390 No. 5

Written Answers. - Dublin Firm Industrial Dispute.

66.

asked the Minister for Labour whether he has received reports on the on-going industrial dispute at Unidare, Dublin 11, and if he will intervene personally or through the institutions of his Department to resolve the issue.

On Wednesday, 17 May 1989 I requested the Labour Court to intervene in the dispute. As a result of my initiative, the Labour Court invited the parties to an urgent hearing. After several days of discussions, the court has now completed its investigations and a recommendation will be issued shortly.
