asked the Minister for Health whether the £1 million available under the Fianna Fáil Progressive Democrats Programme for Government 1989-1993 to haemophiliacs who are HIV positive or who have AIDS will be made available directly to the Haemophilia Society; if the AIDS fund is to be used as a conduit in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

asked the Minister for Health if he will outline the financial assistance given to haemophiliacs suffering from AIDS following the decision made in the 25th Dail.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 65 and 66 together.

My Department will be discussing the matters raised by the Deputies with the AIDS Fund and the Irish Haemophilia Society shortly.
