Written Answers. - Appointments to State Bodies.
Since March 1987, I reappointed three (one being a representative from my Department) and appointed eight new members to the board of the Combat Poverty Agency. I also made three appointments to fill vacant positions on the National Pensions Board.
I reappointed the five existing members of the Social Welfare Tribunal and, due to the subsequent resignation of one appointee, I have recently appointed a replacement. I have also appointed one special adviser who transferred to my office from Telecom Éireann.
