Vol. 392 No. 8

Written Answers. - Army Pension.

45.

asked the Minister for Defence when an Army disability pension will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

The person referred to has applied for a disability pension under the Army Pensions Acts in respect of disablement due to injury. His case has been referred to the Army Pensions Board which is the statutory body for reporting on such applications. He is due to be medically examined by the board later this month. When the report of the board has been received in my Department, the matter will be dealt with promptly.
