I presume that the Deputy is referring to the proposed major road improvement scheme between Minish and Curraglass on the national primary route N22. The overall scheme is currently at preliminary design stage.
Draft contract documents for the Gortahoosh Bridge section of the scheme have been received in the Department from the local authority. The Department have deferred a decision on these documents pending the determination of the proposed alignment for the overall scheme, which is the subject of discussions at engineering level between the Department and the local authority.
